{"id":912,"date":"2023-07-25T16:47:27","date_gmt":"2023-07-25T16:47:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cake.appscodestudio.com\/?p=912"},"modified":"2023-07-25T16:47:28","modified_gmt":"2023-07-25T16:47:28","slug":"easy-fried-rice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cake.appscodestudio.com\/index.php\/2023\/07\/25\/easy-fried-rice\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy Fried Rice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1\/2&nbsp;yellow or white onion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2&nbsp;large garlic cloves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon&nbsp;minced ginger (about&nbsp;1&nbsp;inch nub)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2&nbsp;large carrots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cups&nbsp;chopped green cabbage (optional)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 tablespoons&nbsp;sesame oil, divided<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4&nbsp;eggs*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd cup&nbsp;frozen peas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon\u00a0kosher salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 cups\u00a0cooked rice, at least 1 day old (use\u00a0How to Cook Rice\u00a0or\u00a0Instant Pot Rice), or use shortcut**<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 tablespoons&nbsp;soy sauce or tamari<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon&nbsp;fish sauce (optional)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Green onion, for garnish (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mince the onion.\u00a0Mince the garlic.\u00a0Mince the ginger. Peel the carrots, then dice them. If using, chop the cabbage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of the sesame oil medium high. Saute the carrots and onion for 2 minutes. Add the cabbage, garlic and ginger and saute for 2 minutes. Stir in the rice, peas and salt for 1 minute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Push the rice to the side. Add 1 tablespoon more oil. Add the eggs and pinch of salt, and scramble them in for 1 to 2 minutes until cooked through.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the soy sauce and fish sauce, if using. Taste and add additional soy sauce or salt if necessary. Heat for a minute or two, stirring, until all rice is coated.
