Irish Coffee (Classic)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
  • 1 ½ ounces Irish whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar (or to taste)
  • Freshly whipped cream (or heavy cream)

Method:

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee.
  2. Pour the coffee into a heatproof glass or mug.
  3. Add the Irish whiskey and brown sugar, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  4. Top with a dollop of freshly whipped cream, ensuring it floats on top (don’t stir).
  5. Serve and sip slowly.
