Chemex Coffee

  • Ingredients:
    • 30g of freshly ground coffee (medium-coarse grind)
    • 500ml of hot water (around 200°F or 93°C)
  • Instructions:
    1. Place a Chemex filter in the brewer and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste.
    2. Add the ground coffee to the filter.
    3. Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to allow them to bloom for 30 seconds.
    4. Continue pouring the water slowly and evenly in circular motions to extract the coffee. Allow the water to drain before adding more.
    5. Once all the water has been poured, allow the coffee to finish draining, then remove the filter and serve the clean, smooth brew.
