- Ingredients:
- 30g of freshly ground coffee (medium-coarse grind)
- 500ml of hot water (around 200°F or 93°C)
- Instructions:
- Place a Chemex filter in the brewer and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste.
- Add the ground coffee to the filter.
- Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to allow them to bloom for 30 seconds.
- Continue pouring the water slowly and evenly in circular motions to extract the coffee. Allow the water to drain before adding more.
- Once all the water has been poured, allow the coffee to finish draining, then remove the filter and serve the clean, smooth brew.
