Greek Coffee with Mastic

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 tablespoon finely ground Greek coffee
    • A small pinch of mastic powder (or mastic essence)
    • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
    • 60 ml cold water
  • Instructions:
    • Add the mastic powder or essence along with the coffee and sugar to the briki with cold water.
    • Stir well, and place the briki over low heat. Allow the foam to form, then remove from the heat.
    • Repeat this process 2-3 times, allowing the foam to build.
    • Pour into a small coffee cup, letting the grounds settle.
