Ingredients:
- 1 shot of espresso (optional, for a Dirty Chai Latte)
- 4 oz chai tea concentrate (store-bought or homemade)
- 6 oz steamed milk
- 1 cinnamon stick (for garnish)
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom (optional, for extra spice)
- Honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
Steps:
- Brew the Chai: Brew 4 oz of chai concentrate, or steep a chai tea bag in hot water. For a homemade concentrate, combine black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and cardamom, then strain.
- Brew the Espresso (Optional): If you want a Dirty Chai Latte, brew a single shot of espresso.
- Steam the Milk: Steam 6 oz of milk until smooth and creamy.
- Mix: Combine the chai concentrate with the brewed espresso (if using), and then pour in the steamed milk.
- Sweeten: Add honey or maple syrup to taste, depending on how sweet you like it.
- Top (Optional): Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a dash of ground cardamom.
