Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 egg
- 1 1/2 tablespoon milk
How to make Fairy Cake
- Step 1. Sieve the flour with baking powder. Add butter to the sugar and mix them well. Beat the ingredients till the mixture becomes white and creamy.
- Step 2. Add eggs, one at a time and keep beating till fluffy and thoroughly mixed. You might use a whisker or an electric blender for this. At this point, add milk. Check the consistency. It should neither be thick nor too thin and runny.
- Step 3. Grease a baking dish. Pour in the mix and bake in a pre-heated oven at 170 degrees C for 20 minutes or till a toothpick or skewer comes out clean. This Fairy Cake can be served with tea and coffee and it can also be used as a wonderful base for cream cakes.
