Saffron Coffee Latte

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 2-3 saffron threads
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • Pinch of cardamom (optional)

Method:

  1. Warm the milk in a small saucepan and add the saffron threads. Let the saffron steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Brew a shot of espresso or strong coffee.
  3. Froth the saffron-infused milk until it’s nice and creamy.
  4. Pour the espresso into a mug and add the steamed milk.
  5. Sweeten with honey or a sprinkle of cardamom if desired.
