Turkish Coffee with Saffron

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon finely ground Turkish coffee
  • 2-3 saffron threads
  • Water
  • Sugar (optional)

Steps:

  1. Add Coffee and Saffron: Add Turkish coffee and saffron threads to the cezve.
  2. Add Water and Sugar: Pour in cold water and sugar if desired.
  3. Heat Slowly: Stir to combine and heat over low heat.
  4. Foam and Brew: Let the coffee foam up, remove from heat just before it overflows, and repeat 2-3 times.
  5. Serve: Pour into cups, ensuring that the foam is evenly distributed.
