Turkish Coffee with Cardamom

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon finely ground Turkish coffee
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • Water
  • Sugar (optional)

Steps:

  1. Add Coffee and Cardamom: Add 1 tablespoon of Turkish coffee and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom to the cezve.
  2. Add Water and Sugar: Pour in the cold water and add sugar if desired.
  3. Heat Slowly: Place the cezve over low heat, stirring only once.
  4. Foam and Brew: As the coffee heats, remove it before it overflows, then return it to heat. Repeat 2-3 times.
  5. Serve: Pour into small cups, dividing the foam evenly, and allow the grounds to settle before drinking.
