Mocha with Spices

Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 6 oz steamed milk
  • 1–2 tbsp chocolate syrup (or cocoa powder with sugar)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon (or nutmeg)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Steps:

  1. Brew the Espresso: Brew 1 shot of espresso.
  2. Steam the Milk: Steam 6 oz of milk until smooth with a little microfoam.
  3. Mix Chocolate and Spices: In your cup, add chocolate syrup (or cocoa powder with sugar) and a pinch of cinnamon (or nutmeg, or a dash of cayenne pepper for heat).
  4. Pour Milk: Pour the steamed milk into the espresso-chocolate-spice mixture, stirring to combine.
  5. Top (Optional): Top with whipped cream and sprinkle a little extra cinnamon or nutmeg on top for an added festive touch.
