Ingredients:
- 18–20 grams of coffee (for a double shot)
- 15–20ml of water (instead of the usual 30–40ml for a regular espresso)
Steps:
- Grind the Coffee: Use a fine espresso grind (slightly finer than regular espresso).
- Brew the Ristretto: Pull a shot of espresso with less water. Typically, you’ll use about 15–20ml of water for a ristretto shot.
- Serve: A Ristretto is served in a smaller espresso cup, often around 1 oz (30ml).
