Peach Smoothie recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup nonfat Greek plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 3/4 cup frozen peaches be sure they are unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup frozen banana slices
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey plus additional to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch ground ginger
  • A few ice cubes optional

Instructions 

  • Place the ingredients in a high-powered blender in the order listed: almond milk, yogurt, peaches, banana, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and ginger. Blend until smooth. (If you do not have a high-powered blender, add the fruit more slowly and splash in additional almond milk as needed to help the smoothie blend.)
  • Taste and add additional honey if you’d like the smoothie sweeter. If you’d like it thicker, blend in a few ice cubes. Enjoy!
